Delete the crest and iwo folders from the game root directory, also the Crest.utx file from the game Systextures folder

Solution

Problem loading Icon.utx file. Delete the iwo and crest folders from the game's root directory and copy the Icon.utx file to the systextures and textures folders. Perhaps your client is trying to find him in the wrong place.

Solution

Reinstall / update the drivers for the video card. Not necessarily the most recent ones, the main thing is not the ones you have now.

Reinstall DirectX, DirectX 9.0c is required.

Check:

Start -> run -> dxdiag -> Display tab options -> DirectDraw Acceleration, Direct3D, AGP Texture - must be enabled.

Delete the option.ini file from the system folder of the game.

Solution

The files are damaged or incompatible. Delete (or move to any other location) everything from the client's system folder except the l2.exe file, delete the LineageII.exe, patchw32.dll files from the client's root folder and download the full patch! Delete the hohloma.utx and whitecloak.utx files from the systextures and textures folders, respectively.

Try increasing the amount of virtual memory - Control Panel> System> Advanced tab> Performance: Settings> Advanced tab> Virtual Memory: Change.

Probably you have too many windows running and your computer is not able to handle the load.

Delete the option.ini file from the system folder of the game.

In the graphics settings, the Video section of the Shader menu, do not enable rendering, set the graphics to a minimum.

Reinstall the drivers on the video card, reinstall DirectX

1) Downloading the latest drivers from the video card manufacturer's website:

2) Download the latest DirectX from the microsoft website or go to the folder where the launcher is installed, find the dxwebsetup.exe file and then install DirectX that meets the requirements of the game.

3) Restart your computer.

4) Check the item "DirectX Features", it can be found by clicking Start - Run - dxdiag "screen" tab, it should have three accelerators enabled: DirectDraw Acceleration, Direct3D Acceleration and AGP Texture Acceleration. If one of these items is off, turn it on.

Solution

1) Open the control panel (Start-> Control Panel).

2) In the control panel open "Regional and Language Options".

2) Editing boot.ini:

4) Editing the registry for this patch:

4.1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit at a command prompt, and then click OK.

4.2. Right-click the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSe ssion Manager key, select New, and then select Key.

4.3. Enter Throttle as the name of the new section.

4.4. Right-click the Throttle key, select New, and then DWORD Value.

4.5. Enter PerfEnablePackageIdle as the parameter name.

4.6. Right-click the PerfEnablePackageIdle item and choose Edit.

4.7. In the Value box, enter 1. Make sure Hexadecimal is selected in the Edit DWORD Value dialog box and click OK.

Solution

If the button is not available, install DirectX 9.0 and the latest drivers for the video card from an official source. The error should disappear, or the button should become active. If these actions do not lead to a positive result:

1. Start -> Run -> regedit (Enter)

2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Direct3D \ Drivers Change the value of the SoftwareOnly parameter from 1 to 0.

If you did not manage to solve the problem yourself, you need to create a support ticket, attaching the following files and information:

1. Go to the "Start" menu, select "Run" and in the window that appears, enter dxdiag. Click the "Save all information" button at the bottom of the window and attach the resulting file to your ticket.

2. Go to the "Start" menu, select "Run" and in the window that appears, enter msinfo32. Select "File" -> "Save" in the menu and attach the resulting file to your ticket. (If the file is larger than 2MB, add it into an archive)

3. Right-click on the "My Computer" icon, select "Properties" and send a screenshot of the window that opens.

4. If you have an antivirus or firewall installed, please provide its name and version.
